Today we are celebrating SUPERMAN!

We are celebrating SUPERMAN today because he is so darn cute! Well that and today he graduated preschool. He is now officially heading off to College.... I mean kindergarten! We went to a ceremony today and everyone was in awe of this little boy. He walked all by himself to get his certificate and stood there real proud and smiled and turned around and walked back. He did so well. I got a little teary behind that camera of mine! So here are a few pictures to celebrate SUPERMAN today.

These are pictures that I took last Friday when I got my backdrop stand a chromakey green screen. Couldn't wait to try them out! And little man was all too willing to pose!
How can a person seriously resist this little boy! IMPOSSIBLE!

Spiderman's Cake

Here is a picture of Spidermans broken heart. As you can see he had plenty of beautiful cakes to choose from and he chose this one. Go back and read the poem and tell me if I'm looking too far into it! Either way, He is just the sweetest thing.

We finally got our business plan finished with all the recommended
information included. What a job that was. I found the hardest thing was getting the cash flow forecast done. I am a person that works with real numbers not ones that I make up. So in the end I did just that. I worked with the real numbers and it still looks good. So we'll see what happens. We have 6 contracts now and I'm sure we will have at least one more by weeks end. I look forward to running my be-hind off this summer!

I have a PAC meeting tonight and
I went in to photocopy some information for the PAC and I had a heck of a time. The photocopier kept getting jammed and by the time I finished photocopying 6 sets of documents I was exhausted!! A person needs to take a course just to run a stupid photocopier these days!

HIS BROKEN HEART

My son..... spiderman never ceases to amaze me. I so admire his innocence and beautiful spirit and something that seems like nothing is really a symbol of him. So I decided to write a poem about the Cake walk experience yesterday. Enjoy.

His Broken Heart
He marched around the circle

As the music played.

So big and tall with pride,
His smile he could not fade

As the music stopped,
He sat down real quick
His numbers called, he wins a cake

Now which one will he pick?

His eyes are beaming, his face aglow
As he walks up to his prize

There are so many cakes to choose from
But which one will he find?

He sees one with red sparkles
He knows it is the best

The decisions made, he takes his cake
Decides against the rest.

Out of all the cakes he could have chose
He chose this one you see
A broken heart, broke in three
Red sparkles & chocolate icing.

It's little imperfection,
my boy he did not see -

It was as perfect as the rest

And he brought it home to me.

This is just the way he is
With people as with cakes,

He always sees the best in us

No matter what it takes.

He doesn't see our imperfections,
He doesn't see our brokenness,
He makes us feel so good inside

We forget about the rest.

So when you see an imperfection,

Think about this cake,

A little imperfection...
What difference does it make?

I'm probably putting to much thought into this little cake but really and truly Spiderman is a light that shines and doesn't see the same things we do. He is truly a gift from God. Both of my boys are. They truly are two of God's gifts to this world. I will to get a picture from his principal of the cakes. I know that they took a picture of the table. It is just the sweetest thing!

God Bless,

The Woman!

Be my VALENTINE

Well today Spiderman get's to flirt with all the girls in his class and give them Valentines. He'll charm them, make them swoon & then break their little hearts cause he'll always be Mommy's boy!!! ---- yeah right! I can only wish he would stay my little boy forever and ever! He is excited to give out all his Valentines and the cookies that he brought though. Superman did his Valentine thing yesterday at Preschool since he doesn't have school today. Well my car has survived another day! I have also been getting several calls & emails regarding a wedding photographer and videographer. We are going to be very busy this summer. That's a very good thing though cause we need it! Hopefully by next year we can not worry about outside employment for the Big Man and Me. It would be nice to have a profitable home based business that could support us throughout the year. We'll see though! We would like to be able to build a house in the next year or two. That is the ultimate goal! We would like to build because we want so many custom options in our house that we will never find a pre-built house that would fit our needs! Hello in Japan!...... Hello in Utah! We really miss you guys. Japan.... I would love to do another camping trip like we did. That would be so Awesome. Utah.... if this business goes as well as we think it is going to, maybe we'll be down to see you this next year! You just never know. These pictures seem appropriate for the day!

A day in the life of a Canadian

This being the first entry, I will do my best to set my life.

After reading a friends blog and laughing hysterically at her chaotic life, I decided that I should do the same. It is a great way to vent and heck it could be fun. So here it is.

I am Canadian. I live in the cold freakin North of BC! I am a mother of 2 boys with special needs. The older one we'll call him "Spiderman" whose 7 1/2 and the younger one we'll call him "Superman" he is almost 5. Oh yes, we'll call my husband...... hmmm.... "The big man"

Well Spiderman didn't want to go to school today. He didn't want to lose me! He has had separation issues lately. The picture of him with the Big freakin tomato was taken this summer. He loves tomatoes as you can see!

Superman has been flying! He is taking a few steps on his own now and it is amazing how big he is getting. The picture of the boy with the walker is Superman. He goes a lightning speed with that walker. IT is a true blessing. I think he is well on his way!

The big man and me, decided to tackle our photography business full force. We set up a booth at a bridal show and bam it's happening a lot faster than we anticipated! We have five wedding bookings so far and the potential for 17 bookings. WHOOH_HOO! We are also adding videography to the business. Exciting stuff! So far so good. Now we just need to get the business loan to get the rest of our equipment!
